ADK Trail Inn

Are Your Rooms Handicapped Accessible?

We welcome well-behaved, non-barking, trained and vaccinated dogs in our Alpine Trail room and one of our Vintage rooms.  Our Pet Fee is $10 per night per pet (additional charges may apply if excessive cleaning is required)   Please note - we are pet friendly but not pet sitters!  We prefer that your dog accompany you on your days adventures.  Your dog may only be left alone in your room if it is crated and you are available by cellphone.  Pets MUST be mentioned at the time of reservation - there is a $50 fee for bringing a pet into a non-pet friendly room so please be honest!

Where can I eat dinner?

Due to the older style of our buildings, we are currently unable to accommodate guests who need wheelchair access. Future renovations include plans for an fully ADA Compliant room.  For those with mobility issues, the following information is designed to help you assess if we are a good match for your needs:

There are two small steps to enter our office area.  Once inside, there are no other steps in the office or breakfast area. Public restrooms are also available in this building.

A deck runs the entire length of the inn and there are either two or four steps with sturdy handrails up onto the deck depending on the location of your room.  Once in the guest rooms, everything is on the same level except for our two kitchenette units which have one step from the kitchen area to the bedroom.  Most of our rooms have a step in shower with only a small lip to retain the water.  We do have three rooms with tubs that would require stepping over the side of the tub.  These rooms are Serenade, Summit and Morning Mist.

Our Daybreak room is located on the second floor in the Lodge building and requires climbing a full set of rather steep stairs.

Our parking area is gravel with minor dips due to variations in the ground.  Although we keep it well-plowed, it is often snow-covered with icy spots during the winter months.

Because we don't have 24 hour front desk service, our inn may not be the best fit for a solo guest with hearing or sight needs.

Please feel free to call Amy at 518-527-1155 to discuss your specific needs. We will do our very best to accommodate you.
