Specials

Book Direct Discount

Did you know that every time you book on a major booking site (like Expedia, Travelocity, Hotels.com, etc) the inn is charged 18% of your booking? As a small, family-run inn, we work hard to keep our costs down and our rates affordable. You can help us out by booking directly through our website or by phone.

To thank you, we guarantee that you will always receive the lowest rate and most room choices by booking on our website. (We don’t list all of our rooms on the big sites) If you find a lower rate online, we will match it and throw in a free snack pack for you as well.

Thank you for being part of our story … we appreciate each one of you!

Frequent Guest Special

Stay twice in any three month period and receive a $25 discount on your third stay! (Stays must be 2 nights to qualify) You must mention this special at time of reservation to receive the discount.

A Little About Us

From the moment we set foot on the Inn’s property in 2012, we sensed there was something special about this little place. On that warm May day, we were captivated by the smell of the pines, the gentle song of the river and the hum of the bumble bees. We knew that we would love to bring our family to stay at this kind of place, so why not make it available to other like-minded people?!

Since then, we’ve been working hard to transform the inn (which was a little tired) into a warm, inviting space for families and friends to relax, connect and experience the Adirondacks.

Future plans include upgrading the remaining “vintage” rooms, a new roof on the front of the motel, remodeling the cottage, restoration of Adirondack camping on the grounds, an expanded picnic area, additional riverside furniture and more!

Our family loves creating beautiful spaces for others to create memories. We hope you enjoy your stay at the ADK Trail Inn as much as we’ve enjoyed preparing it for you.

Pet Policies

We welcome well-behaved, non-barking, trained and vaccinated dogs in our Alpine Trail room and one of our Vintage rooms. Our Pet Fee is $15 per night per pet (additional charges may apply if excessive cleaning is required)

Please note – we are pet-friendly but not pet sitters! We prefer that your dog accompany you on your day’s adventures. Are Your Rooms Handicapped Accessible?

Due to the older style of our buildings, we are currently unable to accommodate guests who need wheelchair access. Future renovations include plans for an fully ADA Compliant room. For those with mobility issues, the following information is designed to help you assess if we are a good match for your needs:

There are two small steps to enter our office area. Once inside, there are no other steps in the office or breakfast area. Public restrooms are also available in this building.

A deck runs the entire length of the inn and there are either two or four steps with sturdy handrails up onto the deck depending on the location of your room. Once in the guest rooms, everything is on the same level except for our two kitchenette units which have one step from the kitchen area to the bedroom. Most of our rooms have a step in shower with only a small lip to retain the water. We do have three rooms with tubs that would require stepping over the side of the tub. These rooms are Serenade, Summit and Morning Mist.

Our Daybreak room is located on the second floor in the Lodge building and requires climbing a full set of rather steep stairs.

Our parking area is gravel with minor dips due to variations in the ground. Although we keep it well-plowed, it is often snow-covered with icy spots during the winter months.

Because we don’t have 24 hour front desk service, our inn may not be the best fit for a solo guest with hearing or sight needs.

Please feel free to call Amy at 518-527-1155 to discuss your specific needs. We will do our very best to accommodate you.
